According to the Dept of Education in CA, there are graduation requirements for high school but not necessarily an age to completion.

State Minimum Course Requirements

My oldest will be in 7th grade next year. She is really wanting to get a leg up on college and finishing up her general so she can jump into her nursing program. So we are starting the search to ensure she gets a great leg up. There are a few online high schools that she can start:
Acellus Academy
Penn Foster X
James Madison High School
American School of Correspondence
A couple of these actually look very promising but we'll have to see as we go!
