The Start of a New Journey

So the journey has started. I pulled my daughter out of her school a week ago yesterday and was waiting for the Abeka convention that happened in our town this weekend. So I went in and asked tons of questions about homeschooling and the Abeka Academy. They had a lot of great information and some great resources for kids. Im very excited. So T. has just been enrolled in Abeka Academy 1st grade and will start officially in 2 weeks! I'll let you know how things go because we are also supplementing her with some other curriculum as well. This is our curriculum for first grade 2011:

Core (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic), additional resources (History, and Science) is Abeka

Writing/Cursive/Penmanship is supplemented with Writing with Ease

Bible is supplemented with Christian Light
